About 2 years ago I was told I had skin cancer. I had a large piece removed from my back and a little from each arm pit. I was clear. Then it came back around 6 months ago but I have been lucky and it was caught before it spread. Needless to say that whole experience was extremely scary. So I wanted something to remind me that even if you’re faced by a killer you can still survive. This tattoo is my reminder. The man and ship represent me and they are killing the Octopus that has attacked them. If you look closely you can see that the Octopus’s eye is the large scar I was left with. I know that there are people having a much harder time than I went through but my point is this, keep fighting it and keep donating to cancer research. One day cancer won’t be a killer, we’ll be Killin’ It.
